Massage Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Massage Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) originates from Germany. It is a massage technique that deals with the fluid of the body. It shifts the buildup of extra fluid that can be caused through injury, a bone fracture, breast cancer, prostate cancer, caesarian, vasectomy, any operation, a weak heart or physical inactivity. A fluid retention, meaning a buildup of lymph, creates a sluggish immune system which causes damage to the muscular system. MLD is also beneficial for pregnant women, acne of the face & neck, burns, sinus problems, high fever and some arthritis (not Rheumatoid Arthritis). MLD helps to balance the body’s fluid, eliminate toxins, boosts the immune system and also relaxes.

Swedish massage

Swedish massage is a well-known massage technique. It encompasses five different movements including long gliding movements as well as kneading of individual muscles. The pressure is gentle but firm (it can be adapted to suit individual preferences) and improves circulation, eases muscle aches and tensions and promotes a general feeling of relaxation.

Huna Massage

Huna Massage originates from Hawaii and is a beautiful and unique technique, using hands and forearms in a free flowing, nurturing and intuitive way. I can only say “Oh Wow” Click here for more details. Every technique lasts from half an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the client, but it is truly more enjoyable to receive in an hour and a half. Try it and you’ll see!! By correcting the energy flow from within the body it will definitely create balance between the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual plans and make you feel relaxed, lighter, grounded and more connected with yourself.

Thaï Massage

Thaï Massage works with the body’s energy lines. Energy points are pressed or general pressure is used. There is a lot of stretching involved and many exercises might well be described as “applied Hatha Yoga” or “applied physical Yoga”. What makes Thaï massage a truly amazing technique and an art is the combination of all the beautiful postures that are used. Thaï massage is performed fully dressed, which some people prefer.

Ayurvédic Yoga Massage

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage originates from Pune in South Western India and just like Thai massage, it uses a lot of stretching from yoga. This is a very therapeutic technique where the practitioner uses hands, feet and body weight to massage and help the client opening up certain regions like the thoracic area, which in turn contributes to improve breathing.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a specific pressure technique applied with thumbs and fingers to stimulate precise reflex points on the feet, hands & ears, which correspond to specific parts of the body. Pressures on these points activate certain areas resulting in a general feeling of well being.

Reiki

Reiki originates from Japan and involves the positioning of the hands over each chakra and certain parts of the body. The practitioner becomes an energy channel transferring universal energy into the client. We all have this power of channeling through the hands, so let’s enjoy it.

Rebirth

Rebirth is a conscience breathing technique that penetrates into a person’s cellular memory and removes the limits and fears which stop the individual from manifesting totally. It was originally believed that human birth is a disturbing event. Reviewing this event or any other troubling events can have therapeutic benefits. Rebirthing is a cleanup of past memory cells. Energy is then released, giving freedom and enhancing one’s power of expression in life. Since its creation in 1960, more than 10 million people worldwide benefited from rebirthing.

Shantis

Shantis is similar to Reiki in the sense that it channels universal energy, but it is practiced in a totally different way. The practitioner touches the client only minimally. Her hands flow over all the body rather than just on the chakras, focusing on both the physical and ethereal bodies. Shantis brings an inner awareness which enables the client to identify various negative life memories. Understanding and acceptance of these events and the circumstances surrounding them finally brings forgiveness towards oneself and the others involved. The greatest mark of humility is to agree to forgive oneself. Forgiveness is a sign of freedom. Freedom is a sign of healing. The client will feel totally relaxed and obtain a balancing of the chakras.

Schrantanis

Schrantanis means opening of the heart and opening of consciousness. By working on the secondary chakras, the balance of these energy centers will allow you to find harmony and your inner power.
