Annie Lalanne is a professional massage therapist since 1998. She is a practitioner and a teacher of
the wonderful world of massage therapy.
Massage therapy is a passion and is certainly a joy and a way of living that has taken her all over the world. Annie is a born communicator, possessing “la joie de vivre” in everything she does. Annie is always exploring and learning new techniques as well as fine tuning the ones she knows in order to bring the best to her clients.
Annie started her spiritual and personal growth in 1985 at the « Institut du developpement de la personne » in Knowlton, Quebec. After completing her Sexology degree in 1997, she lived and travelled extensively throughout Australia, Thailand and India. Annie has gained much experience and knowledge in the massage world from studying and practicing in those countries.
With her creativity, her dynamism and her perceptive ability to sense the needs of one’s body, Annie is able to transmit her knowledge and help her clients acquiring a healthier, more balanced state of mind.
Her repertoire is wide and varied. It includes Huna Massage, Swedish massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Thai, Ayurvedic, Hot Stone, Sport & Remedial, and massage for pregnant women, which is such an important time in life.
In addition to massage she also offer’s Rebirth, Shantis, Shrantanis, Reiki sessions and therapy through toning and Art. Annie began teaching Swedish massage in 2001, followed by her distinctive specialty Huna massage and philosophies as well as an innovative massage course designed specifically for couples. She also teaches Meditation and Yoga in groups as in individuals. Also in schools with MISP, she teaches massage to students, between children, and between children and their parents. Annie loves “L’enfant s’éveille et s’émerveille…” She thanks Messrs. Grondin and Jetté who encourage and support her in several schools of the “Haut-Richelieu” school board, and it continues. In addition, she innovates by teaching the mom\dad massage to their baby. She loves to share her skills and see people flourish through her on-site and\or online education.
Annie has practiced on almost all continents including even the North Pole and the South Pole as she works on expedition ships as Massage Therapist and Adventure Concierge. Returning home after twenty years abroad, she moves between the “Montérégie” Region in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada and Vaasa in Finland.
Annie is a registered professional member of: CATCM – Canadian Association of Therapists in Complementary Medicine & ANTA – Australian Natural Therapy Association. It is thus possible for her to provide receipts for insurance.
